Retention & Expansion Program |
The McMinnville Economic Development Partnership has an innovative business retention and expansion program, McMinnville Business Pulse. The program is designed to encourage economic growth by helping local businesses identify and solve problems that affect productivity, profitability and competitiveness.
The data gathered during confidential interviews will be used to put businesses in contact with resources that can help in a variety of areas including workforce recruitment, advanced training programs and infrastructure improvement.
The McMinnville Business Pulse program is collaborating with a number of local resource partners who specialize in business development, workforce issues and skills training. The resources partners include Oregon Economic & Community Development Department, Linfield College Office of Career Services, Chemeketa Community College-McMinnville Campus, McMinnville High School's Career Pathways and School-to-Work program, The Small Business Development Center, WorkSource Oregon Yamhill County Center, McMinnville Downtown Association, McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of McMinnville and McMinnville Water and Light.
