McMinnville events celebrate our numerous cultural resources. A vibrant arts community thrives.Linfield College, a four-year liberal arts college, attracts internationally known speakers and hosts a local symphony. A nationally-acclaimed aviation museum  draws visitors from throughout the region and beyond. Lush vineyards, fields and orchards provide a generous bounty.
There are many seasonal celebrations tied to our rich agricultural bounty, such as the McMinnville Wine and Food Classic and the International Pinot Noir Celebration. The  historic Turkey-Rama, an old-fashioned street carnival, harkens back to the days of small town Americana. The funky UFO fest, complete with lectures, pet alien costume contest, and alien parade, commemorates the 1950 sighting of a flying saucer over a McMinnville farm house.
